Editorship of online commentaries on the TPA and the MedDO

Together with her colleague Remus Muresan (owner of Muresan | Legal), Andrea Schütz edits the online commentaries on the Therapeutic Products Act (TPA) and the Medical Devices Ordinance (MedDO) (cf. Link). The aim of the online commentaries is to promote the exchange of legal knowledge between lawyers and to give people outside the legal community access to verified, high-quality legal information (cf. Link).

Cooperations with interdisciplinary experts and other attorneys

In the areas of health, pharmaceutical and medical device law, close cooperations with engineers, scientists and physicians are often essential. This is for example the case when reviewing the technical documentation of a medical device, setting up a suitable quality management system or validating study data from clinical research. Even in the so-called economic efficiency proceedings or in answering the question of whether a physician has violated the principle of economic efficiency, an evaluation of the accounting data by a statistician or mathematician is required for legal analysis and efficient defense. Schütz Law AG recognizes the value of interdisciplinary expertise and draws on a network of proven specialists with clients’ consent. The firm also maintains partnerships with national and international legal professionals, offering referrals or consulting services when needed in areas outside its core focus.
